Itinerary

Day 1:

After picking you up from our point, we will drive toward the Naran city. The distance of 300 kms is going to be covered in about 8 hrs. Enroute, experience the recently opened Hazar moterway. The view enroute from Balakot to Naran is appealing. If the Besham/Naran road is open at that time, we will try to reach Chillas for the overnight stay as it’s located between Skardu and Naran, that makes it an ideal spot for our overnight stay.

Day 2 :

On the second day after breakfast, we will proceed to Skardu moving through Jaglot. To reach Skardu from Chillas will take about 6 hours. As you reach Shangrila (Lower Kachura) Lake, you will be free for the rest of the day following your overnight stay here.

Day 3:

Leave your bed and have breakfast at Kachura Lake. Next, we will move towards the upper Kachura Lake which is basically 20 minutes away by walk from Shangrila (Lower Kachura Lake). Once you reach the upper Kachura lake, you’ll be allowed to stay here for one hour and next move in the direction of Khaplu Valley via Skardu City. Off to the side, 102 km from Skadru city, Khaplu is a gateway to a variety of stunning spots and grand peaks of the world. Certainly, the most famous is Mashabrum peak, and it can be noticed from Khaplu. We have to visit Khaplu Palace after which we will visit the the Chaqchan mosque in the evening and stay for the night in Khaplu.

Day 4:

As soon as the breakfast in Khaplu is done, we’ll begin our voyage route to the Shigar Valley. It is the entrance to powerful peaks like K2, Broad Peak and other beautiful hiking trails as well. We’re going to check out the famous Shigar Fort after which Cold Desert. Now we have to move towards Skardu city for a night stay in the hotel depending on the package.

Day 5:

On your 5th day of your trip, we will take you for a half-day trip to the renowned Deosai National Park, which is famous for protection and conservation of the Himalayan Brown Bear, a critically endangered species and also experience the several mountains wildlife. After spending half day here, we will return toward Chilas for the overnight stay.

Day 6:

On your last day of your trip to Skardu, after breakfast, we will move toward Islamabad as soon as possible. If time permits, we may stop over at Kiwae waterfall for a brief stop-over.

What is Refund policy?

50% deduction if cancellation comes over 7 days prior to the departure. 75% deduction if cancellation happens within 72 hours before the departure. 100% deduction if cancellation happens within 24 hours before the departure.

Are there any age restrictions for this tour?

We have no minimum age requirement to join the tour. However, solo members under 18 years old are welcome to join our Kaghan tour but only with a family member that will represent their guardian whilst on tour. Besides that, no age requirements at all!

Do I need any vaccinations?

No, you don’t have any vaccinations. However, we request you to wear the mask wherever possible.

Will I have access to the internet?

Depending on the location, you can have free Wi-Fi.
